Designed by Ann Demeulemeester, the De collection showcases the technique of chiaroscuro: the play and contrast between light and shadow. Characteristic of Demeulemeester's style, this aesthetic is exquisitely translated into tableware. The result is a collection of shadow paintings on porcelain. The delicately designed De plates are edged with a dégradé, painted by hand in several layers so that each one is unique. This variation comes in a red and off-white colourway to bring vibrancy to the table.
