Pokémon Burgers – The Latest Social Media Food Fad To Hit Sydney
Just when you thought the world’s Pokémon craze couldn’t go any further along comes the Pokémon burger. Currently causing queues (rumoured to be over an hour) outside the Down N’ Out pop up burger bar at the Sir John Young Hotel on George Street are these burgers shaped like Pikachu, Charmander and Bulbasaur. Only a limited number are released per day and it’s not confirmed for how much longer the Down N’ Out will be open, so basically you’ll have to hurry to catch them ‘em all. (Sorry, couldn’t resist that one!)

Frosé – The Drink We Predict You’ll Be Ordering All Summer

Our last addition on this month’s food news is a prediction for the summer. Frosé (aka frozen rose) will be the drink order on everyone’s lips when Pelicano’s brand new Frosé Garden Terrace opens at the end of the month. Fresh from the New York bar scene, a Frosé consists of rosé sorbet laced with sparkling rosé wine and infused with fruit – now doesn’t that sound like a winning combination? The Frosé Garden Terrace, which launches on September 23rd at Pelicano Double Bay, will have two dedicated slushy machines dishing out the Frosé. See you there?
