A celebration of texture, craft and culinary precision.
A layered composition of colour, form and material, Patchwork House by Decus is a striking reimagination of a 1980s residence in Sydney’s Vaucluse. Aptly named for its patchwork of design influences, textures and tones, the home delivers a confident expression of personality and place — one that artfully balances liveliness and restraint.
Anchored by a dramatic circular cupola that floods the interiors with natural light, the home’s heart unfolds into a sculptural 20-seat dining space and oak-lined kitchen framed by a bespoke gouged bronze rangehood. This central entertaining zone reflects Decus’ signature interplay of boldness and refinement — a vibrant stage for everyday living and spirited gatherings alike.
True to this ethos, the kitchen’s statement aesthetic is matched by professional-grade performance. At its centre, the Wolf M Series Professional Pyrolytic Built-In Oven brings power and precision to every culinary moment. With Dual VertiFlow™ convection ensuring even heat across all racks, and Gourmet Mode offering nearly 50 pre-set recipes, it transforms cooking into an intuitive, effortless experience. Its sleek touchscreen interface and signature red knobs add a timeless touch, while the pyrolytic self-cleaning function ensures effortless upkeep.
Designed as much for entertainers as for introspective moments, Patchwork House embodies Decus’ distinctive approach — weaving craft, light and material into a home that’s both personal and performative. As sunlight dances across the oak floors and textured stone, this is a home that celebrates creativity, connection and culinary excellence in equal measure.
