As the festive season quickly approaches we’ve found lots of food-filled ways to celebrate in Sydney. From gourmet Flash Camps in the harbour to a trendy new smoke shack at Pier One, discover the best food events happening this November across the city.
The Kerrigan Smoke Shack Launches At Pier One

Pier One’s chic and scenic pier underneath Sydney Harbour Bridge just got even better with the addition of the Kerrigan smoke shack. The upmarket BBQ joint features a custom-made wood-burning grill and on-site smokery, so you can expect ribs, lambs, burgers and more slow cooked to perfection. Menu highlights include the signature Kerrigan Burger, the daily-changing Black Forest Smoked Sausage and the melt in your mouth ‘Chook Wings’ that come with an Aussie, Indo or Korean inspired dressing.
The Kerrigan is open daily from 11:30am to 9:00pm. Find it at Pier One Sydney Harbour, 11 Hickson Road.
Three Blue Ducks To Feed Flash Campers at Clark Island

Ever fancied spending the night in the middle of Sydney Harbour? A pop up ‘glamp’ site and restaurant will be arriving on Clark Island this month and it sounds like just our style of camping with comfortable beds, fashionable furnishings and gourmet dining.
Flash Camp have set up comfortable camp sites in some of Australia’s most beautiful regions including Kakadu, Byron Bay and Stradbroke Island. This month it’s Sydney’s turn and one of Sydney’s best culinary teams are in charge of the cooking. The team from Three Blue Ducks are preparing a menu just as impressive as that of their Bronte flagship. Guests will be feasting on fresh oysters, kingfish cooked over coals, suckling pig from the rotisserie or lamb from the grill. We think this is what you call ‘Gourmet Glamping’!
Flash Camp Clark Island runs from November 19 to December 6. Visit flashcamp.com.au for more information.
Last Weekend To Catch The Grounds By The Sea

If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out Sculpture By The Sea, the open-air exhibition with over 100 works of art spread along the coastline between Bondi and Tamarama, this is your last weekend to do so.
Once you’ve admired the unique artwork head to The Grounds By The Sea for some refreshments at the latest pop up by The Grounds Of Alexandria. This year, Grounds By The Sea is inspired by the Arizona desert - bringing terracotta tones and spiky cacti to this beautiful coastline. The coffee machines fire up at 7am each morning and food and drink are served each day right through to 7pm.
Find The Grounds By The Sea at Marks Park (off Marks Lane), Tamarama – located along the coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama beaches.
