Finders Keepers Sydney SS16 Market

The Finders Keepers design market, held bi-annually in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, is popping up in Sydney again just in time for Christmas. From the 9th to 11th December you’ll find over 200 independent Australian artists and designers under the cavernous ceiling of Exhibition Hall at the Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh. Once you’ve finished buying gifts for everyone else you can indulge yourself with their fabulous foodie line up including coffee, cakes, burgers and bao from the likes of Chucks Burgers, Mr Bao and Miss Lilly’s Kitchen. Rosebery Block Party Sydney
When foodie hotspot Rosebery hosts a street party you need to come with an empty stomach! All the local favourites, including Three Blue Ducks and Black Star Pastry, will be cooking up treats for the special event on Sunday 11th December. Just like last year’s bash there will be live music and festive games for the kids, plus something extra special from Rosebery favourites Gelato Messina and Newtown’s notorious Mary’s burgers who are hosting a mash up they’re dubbing Messina’s Merry Mary’s Christmas. Milton Markets Brisbane Presents Christmas On Cribb
Gelato Messina are popping up everywhere this Christmas including at Brisbane’s big and bright twilight market in Milton. Christmas On Cribb will be taking place at Milton Markets on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th December and along with gelato there will be the opportunity to shop for gifts, decorations and fresh produce for your Christmas feasts. There will be two stages providing live entertainment and pop up bars serving cold brews by Stone and Wood.

Olive Tree Markets Summer Christmas Series
Newcastle’s contemporary art and design market is holding another of its popular Christmas specials on Saturday 17th December. The Olive Tree Markets Christmas Series will feature a specially selected line up of local artisans, so you can shop home wares, textiles, fashion, furniture, illustration and jewellery whilst soaking up the festive atmosphere. Local taste-makers will be on hand to fill your bellies (look out for The Bao Brothers, The Hungry Camel and sweet treats from Dough & Co) and you can fill your Christmas Hampers too with the help of Oma’s Kitchen’s famous German short bread, sweet treats from Pudding Lane and olives and oils from River Flats Estate.
