Its cruciform plan not only precisely frames the views of the ocean and surrounding landscape, but also establishes a literal and figurative heart at the home’s centre.

In the heart of Subiaco, Perth, this striking residence reimagines the classic character homes of the area. Its bold silhouette, layered materiality, and rich olive-green palette create a sculptural form that is contemporary while maintaining a connection to its architectural heritage.

Speargrass House by Arent&Pyke

A haven for a growing family, this Queenstown residence is the epitome of a forever home. Built for a family of six who thrive in the outdoors, the house seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, offering both a sanctuary for relaxation and a stage for adventure.

A Celebration Of Art, Design, and Community

Held at the Winnings Richmond showroom, the HOTY awards night was a sensory feast, with guests enjoying captivating performances and artistic activations throughout the lively evening.

The event commenced with a champagne tower pour and an opera aria was sung by soloist Hilana Alouani-Roby with a dance performance by Mer Island-Pajinka Wik descendent dance artist Waangenga Blanco. Mim Fanning from Mim Design graced the stage as a special guest to announce the winners.

The Alfresco Garden Party turned bustling Richmond into a lush oasis, where guests danced to Edd Fisher's beats from Waxo Paradiso.

Adding a creative touch, Dan Butterworth painted personalised portraits on recycled cardboard, leaving attendees with lasting memories of a vibrant evening.

Flavourful Moments

Guests were treated to a dazzling array of drinks crafted to tantalise every palate.
The Winnings Espresso Bar offered indulgent Roasted Marshmallow Espresso Martinis and a vibrant selection of Summer Spritzes. At the Alpha Box & Dice Wine Bar, a curated range of Australian wines took centre stage, with the standout Golden Delicioso orange wine leaving a lasting impression. Meanwhile, the Rogerseller speakeasy delighted with dramatic Smoked Negronis and the theatrical flair of Liquid Nitrogen Martinis.

The Que Club served a mouth-watering menu featuring smoked brisket meatballs, charred zucchini skewers, smoked pulled pork sliders, and indulgent smoked peach cream pastry tartlets.
