We’ve written previously about what a great source of interior design and entertaining inspiration Pinterest can be. In this post we share with you the Instagram accounts that provide advice and inspiration for not only styling your kitchen and dining area but the food you prepare in it too..
The Design Files @thedesignfiles
The Design Files by Lucy Feagins is Australia’s most popular design blog and Lucy’s Instagram account gives you a sample of the site’s top features, such as the ‘Tasty Tuesday’ meal ideas by local foodies and photo essays of home renovations from around Australia. We particularly like the way Lucy gives an insight into the people who own the beautiful homes she features, sharing their thoughts and personal experiences throughout the renovation process.
Homes To Love @homestoloveau
Homes To Love is the new online hub for all things home related from the stylish pages of Homes Plus Mag, Australian House and Garden, Real Living and Belle Magazine. Their Instagram account is filled with interior design inspiration, with a wealth of ideas for styling your dining area. All homes featured are uniquely Australian and the accompanying stories offer practical advice for recreating the look in your own home.
Interiors Addict @interiorsaddict
Interiors Addict, Jen Bishop’s, motto is ‘style without the snobbery’. Her Instagram feed is particularly helpful for finding cool homewares to decorate your kitchen and dining area, whilst her new website Reno Addict is full of helpful tips about planning and budgeting for home renovations. Jen is also the host of the 7 Vignettes Instagram challenge, which is a great hashtag to dip into when you’re looking for colours or textures to inspire your interiors or just looking for more inspiring Instagram accounts to follow.
The Stylephiles @thestylephiles
The Stylephiles Instagram is sure to inspire not only your kitchen but your next holiday too! Run by Sydney-based Steph and Kaz, the Stylephiles feed is a collection of lust-worthy homes from around the world. With features ranging from loft apartments in New York to rustic kitchens in Europe, this is an account to follow if you’re looking to give your home a global feel.
Pauline Egge @PetitePassport
Another feed full of international interior inspiration is Pauline Egge’s Petite Passport. Pauline has her finger on the pulse of the seriously cool dining spots around the world and captures them beautifully in her well-curated feed. Follow the Petite Passport if you’d like to know the best places around the world to surround yourself with inspiring design while enjoying spectacular cuisine!
JJ @84thand3rd
84thand3rd by Jennifer Jenner (or JJ) is an account to follow if you want to find inspiration about the way you present the food on your table. JJ is a recipe developer and food photographer with an artful eye for food presentation. It’s best not to view her feed on an empty stomach!
