One of the most progressive and innovative appliances brands, ILVE form a very important part of the Winning Appliances range.
By way of demonstration, we like to introduce you to two examples of their design acumen, both merging technologies to create dynamic and versatile solutions.
The 'Fusion'
Boasting a sleek black ceramic design, the 'Fusion' combines both induction technology and an integrated downdraft hood in one gorgeous unit.
For the uninitiated, a “downdraft hood” is an superb alternative to the traditional rangehood which hangs above the cooking surface. These appliances are often positioned in a slot toward the back of the cooktop, remaining out of sight until activated - at which point they rise into place to draw kitchen fumes and vapour, pushing them downwards to be expelled via ducting.
These discrete, stylish yet highly effective appliances are particularly well-suited to kitchens designed with island benches or a minimalist aesthetic.
In the case of the Fusion, the hood is actually integrated into the cooktop - with a simple tap of the black aluminium push-in catch panel, the hood is exposed to powerfully cleanse the air in your kitchen.
It’s placed centrally in the unit, with two induction cooking zones on either side. Both the cooktop and hood are operated by a touch control system, and have nine power levels.
Superbly designed, it boasts an A+++ energy rating, which is the highest European Energy consumption rating available. The filters are completely removable and dishwasher safe and it also features an alarm for grease and charcoal, signalling only when they need to be cleaned.
The optional addition of the Plasma Filtering Mode that is ducted onto the motor and removes 95% of odor as well as eliminating bacteria. The motor is also accessible without removing the hob, meaning noise is significantly reduced while also being out of sight and mind.
All-in-all, this powerful, high performance appliance is an impressive example of ILVE’s extensive experience crafting both top of the line rangehoods and state-of-the-art induction technology.
Versatile “Versa”
ILVE have applied a similar ingenuity to their ‘Versa’ cooktop - which also features an artful combination of technologies to achieve a dynamic new appliance. As beautifully sleek as the ‘Fusion’, this product sees Induction and Gas cooking technology sitting side by side in the one compact design.
Along with a four zone induction cooktop - giving you amazing precision and power - it also includes the brass “Infinity” Wok Burner. The latter lets you tap into a repertoire of asian dishes, providing even heat around the base of the wok so all ingredients are cooked with the same intensity in the stir fry. Finished in luxurious black ceramic glass, the 90cm Cooktop is a beautiful design piece.
