Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards

On Thursday 25 May, the winners of the 2017 Belle Coco Republic Interior Design Awards were announced, with Winning Appliances a proud sponsor of the event. In it’s seventh year, the prestigious awards showcase the best in Australian interior design.

Almost 300 entries were received across the board, from some of the most respected design firms and interior designers in the country. The level of competition was extremely high with the evening filled with a variety of incredible projects, in residential, commercial and hospitality fields.

Alongside the event, Winning Appliances was also the sponsor of the Best Residential Kitchen Design award. A big congratulations to William Smart and his team at Smart Design Studio, who won the coveted award for their project, Indigo Slam. This monumental home is owned by a Sydney philanthropist and is an impressive design project.

The brief for the design was to be the ‘best house in the world’, which clearly resonated with the judges who also awarded the project two more awards for Best Residential Interior and Best Bathroom Design.

Winning Appliances would like to extend our congratulations to the finalists and winners of all the categories. Read on to discover the winners and check back for our next blog post which will feature the projects of each of the Best Residential Kitchen Design finalists.
