Winning Appliances Renovation Pack Competition 2018 Terms and Conditions
1. The competition commences at 12am (AEST) on 25 October 2018 and concludes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 16 November 2018 (Competition Period). Winners will be decided on 23 November 2018 at Winning Appliances, Level 2, 20A Danks St, Redfern NSW.
2. Entry is open to Kitchen Architect Design clients in all States where Winning Appliances has stores. Employees (and their immediate families) of Winning Appliances are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin.
3. Information on the offer and how to enter the competition form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Competition (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. To enter the Competition, participants are required to submit an entry form during the Competition Period online at https://goo.gl/forms/I6TRIzblULIPqkwc2. Participants must complete the online entry form including project name, company, category, project description, appliances used in the project, 3 high res project images, contact and email address.
5. Entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter. Entrants (including winners) in the Competition may enter multiple projects during the Competition Period.
6. By entering the Competition, the entrant agrees to the publication of their name on the Winning Appliances Website and email newsletter, should they be declared the winner.
7. Winning Appliances is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose at its absolute discretion, including using the entries for research, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. Winning Appliances is entitled to amend, edit, select, crop, retouch, add to or delete from any part of the submitted entry.
8. The Competition is a game of skill and chance has no effect on the overall result. Winners will be judged on the quality, creativity, style and originality of their submitted project.
9. There are 16 winners, which may be subject to change. Winning Appliances decision is final.
10. The prize winners will be notified by Winning Appliances on Thursday 13 December 2018 by 5pm AEST. Each winner will be notified via an email from a member of the Winning Appliances head office team. It is the Entrants’ responsibility to provide correct details to confirm acceptance of each Prize. If the winner does not contact Winning Appliances by phone or via email within two days of being notified they are a prizewinner, they will forfeit the Prize and another winner will be selected and notified.
11. Winning Appliances reserves the right to select additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case an invalid entry is the original winner.
12. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
13. If the prize is not claimed by 15 March 2019, another Winner will be decided at Winning Appliances, Level 2, 20A Danks Street, Redfern NSW.
14. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests from Winning Appliances relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed, photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
15. All decisions of Winning Appliances are final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
16. Winning Appliances reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrant and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Winning Appliances to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
17. Winning Appliances reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
18. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any provision of relevant legislation including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, Winning Appliances (including its Related Bodies Corporate, their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Winning Appliances (including its Related Bodies Corporate, their officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Winning Appliances’ control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered,damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Winning Appliances; (d) any variation in offer value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) acceptance or use of a prize.
20. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of Winning Appliances. Winning Appliances collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the Competition and where appropriate award prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Competition. By entering the Competition and opting in at the point of product registration, each entrant agrees that Winning Appliances may use entrants’ personal information in this manner. Each entrant also agrees that Winning Appliances may publish or cause to be published the winner’s name and locality in any media as required under the relevant legislation.
