Doesn't heat enough and cooktops only work on high
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement for an older version. The oven just doesn't seem to heat up as much and everything takes longer to cook. The cooktop is terrible. Over time each hotplate would only work on high no matter what setting it was on and we have to stand next to the oven and turn the hotplates on and off constantly to try and adjust the temperature to cook anything. We only have one (the smallest size) now that will work on anything less than high or off. I'm a designer and have spec'd Westinghouse in the past due to the trusted brand however I'm steering clients away from it now due to my experiences with my own purchase.
Westinghouse PPR776S , now replacement WVE645S,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Westinghouse fan forced oven and ceramic cooktop, some years ago and it's been the best set up I have ever owned. Simple to use, easy to clean, cooks beautifully and to top it off, the controls are on the oven, so in a household of elderly, the safety factor is ultimum. We had the family over, not long after installation and little ones everywhere. This combination is so safe! I t is so clean and easy to use, with the bonus timer, which automatically turns off the oven, to avoid overcooking and burning. I've loved my PPR776, but sadly it's time to replace it now. So, looking around, the replacement for the original, is a WVE645S. Exactly the same concept, including fan forced oven and the controls on the oven. We have the original set into the wall cabinet and the cooktop to one side, reminding me of the split system I had years ago. It works beautifully, with everything safely in reach for easy handling. Thank you Westinghouse!
Nice stylish Oven And cooktop
Purchased just before Christmas. Very quick delivery. Was very happy with its performance. I like the simple style of this cooker. All the dials on the front means it Blends into the kitchen but Is very stylish at the same time.
