This WM is used in a one person household with no heavy duty laundry being done. The plastic hinge on the lid has broken off. I don't put anything heavy on the lid for this to happen. At the moment it's closing ok, but I hope that it won't further break away in future. Then I will have a problem. I don't know if this is covered by any warranty. Secondly I found the rubber part of the lint filter difficult to reposition when cleaning. I consider both of these things to be a poor design feature, particularly using thin plastic strips for lid closing.

I bought this top loading washer back in December 2019. It’s still goes well and hasn’t caused any problems. It may not be the most economical on water or power but it does the job for work and other clothes for the two of us. Probably used 2-3 times a week and with full loads. Was a cheap washer to replace a Samsung which failed only days after its warranty ran out. The Esatto has already lasted one year longer!

This is a great compact sized machine without an agitator in the middle, I was surprised by how much washing it can hold. Can easily wash king size sheets and bedding. I also like that it has a stainless steel drum and clear lid, plus the spin cycle is fairly quiet. Would have liked more program options, the 10 minutes quick cycle is great but can only be used with cold water and a small load. The next setting that allows for a warm/hot water wash is 45 mins long and has 2 rinse cycles which I find a bit wasteful in terms of water usage. Unfortunately you cannot adjust the rinse cycle settings, only water level and temperature. Other than that, it washes the clothes well, I use liquid detergent not powder and don't have any issues with residue on clothing. Also the lint filter is easy to remove and empty. Overall a great little machine that does the job, I'd give it 5 stars if it were a bit more water efficient.
