Air+Steaming function
A case in point, the Air+Steaming function provides the perfect balance between tenderness and golden crunch with precise temperature control and automatically balanced steam levels. V-ZUG’s recipe for Parmesan Panko Cauliflower is a great example of the way it can help you achieve wonderful results.
Parmesan Panko Cauliflower using V-ZUG Hot Air+Steaming

Ingredients:
1 small cauliflower
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup grated parmesan
1 tsp dried Italian herb mix
1 cup panko crumbs
¼ bunch chives (chopped)
Method:
Select Hot Air+Steaming on your V-ZUG CombiSteam and preheat to 230 ˚C.
Line your black enamel baking tray with baking paper.
Cut the cauliflower into bite sized florets, leaving a little bit of the stalk on. It should look like a mini tree.
Combine the parmesan, dried herbs and panko in a bowl.
Gently dunk the tops of the cauliflower florets into the sour cream to just coat. Dip the coated top into the crumb mixture to cover. Place onto the tray and repeat with remaining pieces.
Place into the oven on Levels 2. Cook for 8 minutes or until tender and golden brown.
Serve sprinkled with chives.

Lemony Yoghurt Cake using BakeOMatic
This recipe highlights the advantages of this unique function, which is able to set the time, temperature and also regulate the moisture in the oven to achieve perfect results every time. All you have to do is set the oven, then wait for the beep to tell you when it’s ready.

Ingredients:
210g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
220g caster sugar
pinch salt
1 cup Greek yoghurt
3 XL eggs
1 lemon (zested & juiced separately)
½ tsp vanilla extract
125 ml rice bran or sunflower oil
125g icing sugar (sifted)
Method:
Place the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Use a hand whisk to combine.
In a separate bowl whisk together the yoghurt, eggs, lemon zest, vanilla and oil.
Grease and line a loaf pan with baking paper. Pour in the batter.
Place into your V-ZUG CombiSteam on the oven rack on Level 2.
Select BakeOMatic, Loaf Cake – Medium Brown and start.
When automatic timing is complete remove and allow to cool in the tin for 10 minutes.
Remove and place on a cooling rack.
Combine the icing sugar with the lemon juice. Drizzle over the cake. Slice and serve
